Diarmuid O’Brien is the writer and director of Paddy Angryman and is our guest for this episode of the Dub Web Fest Show. Sebastian Stephenson talks with Diarmuid about the origins of the series, the Irish political culture that the series is embedded in, making it as a comedy writer, that lack of development opportunities or apprenticeship positions for comedy writing in Irish media and how the web series was a unique opportunity to act as a launching pad for a writing career.
